Facilities & Directions

Athey Park
Athey Park is home to Washington College's oldest intercollegiate sport - baseball.  The facility is named in honor of long-time athletic director and coach Edward L. Athey '47.  A new field was installed in 2007 and the current stadium architechture and pressbox were completed in 2009. In the summer of 2015 the outfield was newly replaced with Bermuda grass. The college's "Western Shore" dorms line the outfield and students often grill and lounge in "Atheyville" on game days.

Enter the north gate of campus by taking a right from the north or a left from the south. Proceed to the second parking lot on your right. Athey Park is located at the back of the parking lot. The Western Shore dorms provide a scenic backdrop beyond the outfield fence.
